  2. In the 1960s and 70s, there was a very popular show on television called Wild Kingdom. Wild Kingdom was hosted by Marlin Perkins.

    In one Wild Kingdom episode, Marlin Perkins discussed the existence of the abominable snowman, the Yeti. Perkins showed what the Yeti evidence really is and how the facts point to the Yeti being a myth and not real. Whether you agree with Marlin Perkins or not, this is interesting:

    1. I enjoyed the link, never seen that before so thanks for that. It’s pretty much been accepted by most people enthusiastic with the idea of the Yeti, that the snowy footprints found over the decades are exactly that which is offered as an explanation in that link. However, Yeti aren’t gonna be running around the barren snowy mountain tops of the Himalayas... they’re gonna be where any primate would be, and that’s in the hot steamy tropical jungles at a far lower altitude, with more cover and more food. There are however very reliable reports from Sherpas and there is no reason to doubt that they wouldn’t use mountain passes for routes into various valleys, etc.

    2. iktomi is right, the common misconception is that the yeti is bobbing around on the mountains but the reality is they are found in the valleys below and are only seen in the mountains when they make their way from valley to valley using mountain passes
